Introduction: Based on the iconic book series written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie is an epic and thrilling family adventure of the mythic American West. Since its original publication in the 1930s, the LITTLE HOUSE book series and brand has remained a constant in the global zeitgeist. The classic novels have sold over 73 million copies in more than 100 countries, translated into at least 27 languages.

Project Synopsis: Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.

Submission Instructions:
1. Intro - Say your Name, Age, Height & Location (where you live) to the camera. Then zoom out to a full body shot. PLEASE put the intro in its own file. We do NOT want the intro on the same file as the scenes. Please label each audition file by Scene Number (S1, S2). Please submit only one take of each scene.

2. Lighting & Sound - Please ensure that your face is well lit and that the external microphone is close enough to clearly understand what you are saying in the audition.

3. Framing & Taping - Please frame the shot from the top of head to mid chest. Please place the camera/phone somewhere stable like a tripod or a flat surface. If you are taping with a smart phone, please turn it horizontally. Do not do the scene directly to camera, but rather focus on the person reading the scene with you. That reader should stand next to the camera.

4. Takes & Scenes - Please have another person read the other characters lines off-screen and stand next to the camera. (please do not read the stage directions).
