A 12-year-old boy discovers that he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ and his destiny is to save humanity. Based on the comic by Mark Millar.

Self Tape Instructions:

The audition has 4 parts, please read all directions carefully:

1. SLATE: Name, height, union status and age (please tell us your age only if you’re under 18). Please make this a FULL BODY SHOT (not a pan from head to toe). NO need for profiles.

2. Please send 1 take of the Spanish audition scene attached.

SCENE: The actor should be well lit, indoors, and in front of a solid background.

Make sure we can hear and see the actor well.
The camera should be at eye level. Make sure the frame of the camera is from the top of the actor's head to the bottom of the chest.
Please have the actor as open to the lens as possible, looking slightly off-camera.

It is not necessary to be off-book, but highly encouraged.

YOUR READER:
Please have your reader stand right next to the camera and out of the shot.
Do not look directly into the camera. A virtual reader is fine.
Please send us individual scenes/takes so they are easier for casting and producers to view.

3. Short clip telling us about yourself in Spanish, approximately 1 minute.

4. Short improvisation in Spanish or English, approximately one minute each:
* Have the actor pretend that his mom is telling him that they have to move a city far, far away. He has to convince his mom that he doesn't want to move and that he'll be better off staying where they live now.
* Have the actor convince his mom or a school friend that he has magical powers but it must be kept a secret. Let the actor use his imagination and decide what his special power he might be.
